What happened

The Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord collected or retained money illegally. Specifically, the Tenant alleged that the Landlord failed to apply the last month's rent deposit to the final month of the tenancy and instead withdrew a full month's rent from the Tenant's bank account on October 1, 2024.
