What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing, but had previously signed an Advance Resolution form agreeing to the payment of the outstanding arrears.

The ruling

Relief from eviction is granted on the condition that the Tenant pays $200 per month towards the arrears and rent from July 2023 to July 2025, and a final payment of $46 by August 1, 2025. If the Tenant fails to make any of the required payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
