What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing, although properly served with notice.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $1,825.10 by October 31, 2023 or $2,289.01 by November 14, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, they must vacate the unit by November 14, 2023 and pay the Landlord $1,528.94 plus daily compensation.
