What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 29, 2024 due to the Tenant committing illegal acts of open-air burning and failing to remove debris/garbage from the property, in violation of municipal by-laws. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $18,476.64, which includes rent arrears, filing fees, and expenses incurred by the Landlord to clean up the property. If the Tenant does not pay by August 5, 2024, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
