What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant did not pay the full rent for May 2023 and did not pay $1,100 towards arrears by the due date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 12, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $11,529.18 plus $73.18 per day starting June 2, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 12, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
