What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 26, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $16,167.35, which includes rent arrears up to May 15, 2023, and $77.51 per day in compensation for the Tenant's continued occupation of the unit starting May 16, 2023. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 26, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
