What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling

The tenancy will be terminated unless the Tenant pays $1,036 by September 30, 2022 or $1,686 by October 30, 2022 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, the tenancy will be terminated and the Tenant must move out by October 30, 2022. The Tenant also owes $642.44 in rent arrears and application fees, plus daily compensation of $21.37 from September 13, 2022 until the Tenant moves out.
