What happened
Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord entered the rental unit illegally, substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex, and harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant.
The ruling
The Landlord must pay the Tenant $298, which includes a $250 rent abatement for harassment and the $48 application fee. The Landlord did not enter the rental unit illegally or substantially interfere with the Tenant's reasonable enjoyment, but the Landlord's conduct of harassment and threats towards the Tenant was found to be unacceptable.
