What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 13, 2023. The tenant must pay the landlord $14,458.04 in rent arrears and compensation for continued occupation, plus $42.02 per day starting June 3, 2023 until the tenant vacates the unit. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by June 13, 2023, the tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
