What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice and the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the arrears.
The ruling
Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $4,102 by March 31, 2024 or $4,238 by April 10, 2024, the tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must move out by April 10, 2024. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must pay the Landlord $3,852.35 plus daily compensation of $4.47 from February 6, 2024 until move-out date.
