What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, and the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy will be terminated on June 30, 2023 unless the Tenant pays $2,244 by May 31, 2023 or $2,787 by June 30, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must pay $1,593.90 to the Landlord and $17.85 per day in compensation for continued occupation of the unit.
