What happened

The Landlords requested a review of an order dated January 7, 2025, which dismissed their application to evict the Tenant for personal use. The original adjudicator found that the N12 notice was not served in good faith because the Landlords had initially planned to sell the property and only decided to move their daughter in after the Tenant indicated they could not easily vacate. The Landlords alleged a serious error in law and bias on the part of the adjudicator.

The ruling

The Landlords' request to review the order issued on January 7, 2025, is denied. The original order, which dismissed the Landlords' application to evict the Tenant due to a lack of good faith in serving the N12 notice, remains in effect.
