What happened

The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy because he required the unit for his daughter's residential occupation. An order was issued in favor of the Landlord. The Tenant requested a review of this order, alleging serious errors regarding the timing of another N12 notice served to a different tenant in the complex and claiming the Member refused to accept evidence regarding an Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) inspection.

The ruling

The Tenant's request for review of the order issued on June 13, 2025, is denied. The original order terminating the tenancy and allowing for eviction is confirmed and remains unchanged. The LTB found no serious errors in the original Member's assessment of evidence or the handling of the hearing.
