Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued on March 28, 2023.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective June 9, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $10,206.11 (less any payments made after April 30, 2023) and $49.91 per day for use of the unit starting May 30, 2023 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 9, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
