What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet the conditions specified in a previous LTB order, including failure to pay rent arrears and current rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 9, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,280.65, plus $50.87 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting May 30, 2023, until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 9, 2023, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
