What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 8, 2023, and the tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The tenant must pay the landlord $4,438.35, which includes the remaining arrears from the previous order and new arrears, plus daily compensation starting April 28, 2023 until the tenant moves out. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by May 8, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
