What happened
Tenants applied for an order determining that the Landlords altered the locking system on a door giving entry to the rental unit or residential complex without giving the Tenants replacement keys, substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the Tenants or by a member of the Tenants' household, and harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenants.
The ruling
The Landlords shall not interfere with the Tenants' access or use of the premises. The Landlords shall pay the Tenants $300.00 for installing the chain and lock across the access way to the premises, and $53.00 for the application fee, for a total of $353.00. If the Landlords do not pay the full amount by May 26, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
