What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as required by a previous LTB order. The Tenants failed to pay the rent arrears by the due date specified in the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 7, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $2,019.18 plus $59.72 per day starting April 27, 2023 until the Tenants vacate the unit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by May 7, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
