What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing despite being properly served with notice.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $2,113.90 by May 31, 2023 or $3,337.45 by June 6, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, they must move out by June 6, 2023 and pay the Landlord $190.14 plus daily compensation of $40.23 from May 10, 2023 until move-out.
