What happened

Tenant 2 and an interested party requested a review of an eviction order based on non-payment of rent. They argued that several parties named in the original order were not actually tenants, that Tenant 2 was unable to participate properly in the original hearing, and that the Landlord had bullied them into rent increases. The LTB reviewed the status of all named parties and the procedural fairness of the previous hearing.

The ruling

The LTB varied the original order to remove three individuals (Marc Evan Blas, Ron Minh, and Mary Joy Blas) who were incorrectly identified as tenants. However, the order remains enforceable against the primary tenants, Concepcion Blas and Marieve Linnie Blas. The stay of the original eviction and payment order is lifted immediately.
