What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenants were required to pay $700 towards rent arrears by March 27, 2023, but failed to do so.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 14, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $9,066.57, which includes the remaining rent arrears, the application filing fee, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenants must also pay the Landlord $73.97 per day for each day of occupation starting May 4, 2023 until they vacate the unit.
