What happened

The ruling

The Tenant's motion to set aside the eviction order is denied. The Board found the Tenant breached the previous LTB order by failing to pay June 2024 rent on time, and the Tenant's subsequent non-payment of rent has resulted in arrears of nearly $13,000. Given the Tenant's continued breaches, the Board determined it would not be unfair to maintain the eviction order, but granted a 2-month stay to allow the Tenant to find alternative accommodations.
