What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to the tenant's failure to meet the conditions specified in a previous LTB order, including non-payment of rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 6, 2023, and the tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The tenant is ordered to pay the landlord $3,236.34 (less any payments made after the application was filed) for rent arrears and the cost of the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest owed to the tenant. The tenant must also pay the landlord $32.70 per day for use of the unit from April 26, 2023 until the tenant moves out.
