What happened
The landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to the tenant seriously impairing the safety of others in the residential complex, as well as for non-payment of rent.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the tenant must vacate the rental unit by August 31, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the landlords may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The tenant must pay $9,456 in rent arrears and application costs by August 31, 2022, and continue paying new rent until vacating. The landlords' legal costs for the L2 application are waived.
