What happened

The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective June 13, 2023. The tenant must pay the landlord $4,098.86 (less any payments made after the application was filed on May 4, 2023) for rent arrears and the cost of the previous application. The tenant must also pay the landlord $28.93 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting June 3, 2023 until the tenant vacates. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by June 13, 2023, the tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
