What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlord, Igor Goudzenko, in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.

The ruling

The Landlords have proven the grounds for termination of the tenancy and the claim for compensation. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before May 15, 2025. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords compensation for the use of the unit from February 1, 2025 until the Tenant moves out.
