What happened

The landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant because the landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.

The ruling

The tenancy between the landlords and the tenant is terminated as of August 31, 2024. The tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before August 31, 2024. If the unit is not vacated by then, the landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. If the tenant vacates by August 31, 2024, the landlord will pay the tenant compensation equal to the rent for April-July 2024.
