What happened

The landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to an incident where the tenant's son was seen kicking a lit propane cylinder out of the rental unit and down the hallway, endangering other residents. The landlord alleged ongoing disturbances involving the tenant's son.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 30, 2023. The tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement starting May 1, 2023. The tenant must pay the landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application.
