What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet the conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant did not pay the required amounts towards the rent arrears by the due dates.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $3,181 by June 10, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must pay the Landlord $2,431 and $24.66 per day in compensation starting June 1, 2023 until they move out. If the unit is not vacated by June 10, 2023, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
