What happened
Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord entered the rental unit illegally, altered the locking system, substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit, harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant, and withheld or interfered with the Tenant's vital services. The Tenant also applied for an order determining that the Landlord failed to meet the Landlord's maintenance obligations.
The ruling
The Landlord was ordered to pay the Tenant $495 for rent abatement, $300 for food delivery expenses, and $100 for illegal entry, for a total of $895. The Tenant was ordered to pay the Landlord $948, which includes the amounts owed to the Landlord.
