What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Tenants requested a review of the original order on the basis that they were not reasonably able to participate in the initial proceeding.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenants is terminated effective December 31, 2022. The Landlords shall pay the Tenants $1,492.40, which represents the unused portion of the last month's rent deposit and interest owing on that deposit.
