What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenants were not present at the hearing, and the Landlord's evidence was the only one considered.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying the specified amounts. If not voided, the Tenants must move out by September 10, 2022, and pay $2,126.92 to the Landlord, plus $26.62 per day for use of the unit from August 19, 2022, until they move out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting September 11, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
