What happened

The Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year by their son.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 31, 2023. The Tenant must move out by that date. If the unit is not vacated by then, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $186 for the application filing fee.
