What happened

The Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord failed to meet maintenance obligations or comply with health, safety, and housing standards. The application was initially filed by three roommates, but it was amended to name only the consistent tenant who lived in the unit for the entire duration of the claim. The ruling

On consent of both parties, the Landlord is ordered to pay the Tenant $1,068.47 by September 6, 2025. This payment is to be made via email transfer. Failure to pay by the deadline will result in simple interest of 4.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
