What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's installation of a security camera and electronic deadbolt on the rental unit door, which the Landlord claims substantially interferes with the reasonable enjoyment and lawful rights of the Landlord and other tenants.
The ruling
The tenancy will continue if the Tenant removes the electronic deadbolt and does not affix any cameras to the rental unit door without the Landlord's written permission. If the Tenant fails to comply, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing costs.
