What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant, and the Tenant or someone the Tenant permitted in the residential complex wilfully or negligently causing damage to the premises.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 5, 2023. The Tenant must move out by July 7, 2024. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,955.07, plus $41.59 per day from May 14, 2024 until the Tenant moves out. The Landlord is entitled to the filing fee of $186 and the Tenant's rent deposit and interest of $1,295.38 is deducted from the amount owed.
