What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay rent arrears as specified in a previous LTB order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective April 11, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,169.25, which includes rent arrears up to March 31, 2023, and the cost of filing the application, minus the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $64.50 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting April 1, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
