Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay $1,194.31 towards the outstanding arrears by the deadline specified in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 3, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $5,495.89 (less any payments made after April 25, 2023) and $45.79 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting May 24, 2023 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 3, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
