What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order. The Tenants failed to pay the lawful monthly rent on or before April 1, 2023 as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 26, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $5,413.38 plus $66.50 per day for compensation for continued occupancy starting May 16, 2023 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by May 26, 2023, they will start owing interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
