What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlords served the Tenant with a valid N4 Notice, but the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the rent arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $10,186 by October 31, 2023 or $11,686 by November 3, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, they must vacate by November 3, 2023 and pay the Landlords $7,675.07 plus daily compensation of $49.32 from October 12, 2023 until move-out.
