What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Landlord's good faith requirement of the rental unit for personal residential occupation for at least one year. The ruling

The Landlord has proven the grounds for termination of the tenancy under the N12 notice, but the Tenant is granted a 4-month extension to vacate the rental unit due to the Tenant's personal circumstances. The Landlord must compensate the Tenant one month's rent by September 30, 2024.
