What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice and the Tenants did not void the notice by paying the arrears.
The ruling
Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $2,331.22 by July 31, 2024 or $4,476.44 by August 5, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated. If the Tenant does not pay, they must vacate the unit by August 5, 2024. The Landlord is authorized to deduct $70.53 per day for compensation starting July 17, 2024 until the Tenant moves out.
