What happened
The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order, which required them to pay the lawful rent for March 2023 by March 1, 2023. The tenants had failed to do so.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 9, 2023. The tenants must pay the landlord $901.18, plus $49.25 per day for each day of occupation starting April 29, 2023 until they vacate the unit. If the tenants do not pay the full amount by May 9, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
