What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order. The Tenants did not pay the full rent for April 2023 and the $750 towards arrears by the due dates specified in the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 3, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $9,575.29 plus $43.77 per day starting May 24, 2023 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by June 3, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
