What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenants failed to pay the full $300 towards arrears by the due date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 6, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $12,113.99, which includes the remaining rent arrears from the previous order and new arrears, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenants must also pay the Landlord $44.64 per day for use of the unit starting April 26, 2023 until they move out.
