What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.

The ruling

The tenancy terminates on April 30, 2023. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit on or before April 30, 2023 and return the keys and vacant possession of the rental unit to the Landlord. The Tenant shall pay the lawful monthly rent for February 2023 and March 2023. The last month's rent deposit will be used for the month of April 2023. If the Tenant does not vacate by April 30, 2023, the Tenant shall pay $36.59 per day until the unit is vacated, and the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
