What happened

Tenants applied for an order determining that Landlords collected or retained money illegally. The Landlords served the Tenants with an N12 notice of termination, claiming they required possession of the rental unit for residential occupation by themselves. The Tenants vacated the rental unit on July 9, 2022, but disputed that the Landlords provided the required one month's rent compensation.
