What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.
The ruling
The Landlord's application to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants is granted. The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2025. The Landlord proved they require the unit in good faith for their own residential use for at least one year. The Landlord provided valid compensation to the Tenant. The eviction is postponed to the end of the school year to allow the Tenant, who has two children, time to find a new suitable and affordable unit.
