What happened

The Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants because the Tenants did not pay the rent that the Tenants owe. The Landlords and the Tenants filed a written agreement with the LTB on October 18, 2023 to resolve the Landlord's application.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlords $4,486.00, which includes $4,300.00 for arrears owing up to October 31, 2023, and $186.00 for the fee paid by the Landlords for filing the application. The Tenants shall pay the amount according to a specified payment schedule. If the Tenants do not make any of the payments required in full and on time, the Landlords may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants, or ask the LTB to reopen the application.
