What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the rental unit is the superintendent's premises and the Tenant's employment as superintendent had ended. The Landlord also sought compensation for the period the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination of employment.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 5, 2025. The Tenant is ordered to vacate the unit and pay the Landlord $12,141.86 in compensation and filing fees. If the Tenant remains past September 5, 2025, they must pay a daily rate of $74.26, and the Landlord can enforce eviction through the Sheriff.
